Who We Are

Community health promotion fund (CHPF)

CHPF is a Trust registered since 2015 in Kenya and its activities mainly target education and healthcare. CHPF wants to improve the health of Kenyans and the quality of healthcare, with the specific focus to increase the availability and quality of health workers. The vision of the Trust is to be an innovative leader in the field of community health in Kenya and beyond. The mission is to improve the health of communities through training, service and research. The beneficiaries of our funds are rural populations, disadvantaged communities, pregnant women, young children, and patients with common but undermanaged diseases.

Our Mission

Community Health Promotion Fund (CHPF) has the mission to be creative and innovative in continuously looking for solutions to improve the health of communities through training, research and services. The core target groups for CHPF are secondary school graduates who want to go for medical training, our beneficiaries are rural populations, disadvantaged communities, pregnant women, young children, and patients with common but undermanaged diseases

Our Aims:

  • To mobilize funds to be able to subsidize, establish, manage, maintain, provide and improve health.
  • To mobilize funds for the Student Educational Fund
  • To support and connect projects and partners that improve health training, research and services
  • To build up partnerships that improve health
  • To address specific diseases plaguing the Kenyan community and health emergencies.
  • To contribute to the county’s existing health information system by combining, sharing and making available health services information.
  • To support research focused on community health and specifically on impact and implementation of projects and programs
