The Community Health Promotion Fund (CHPF) successfully convened its Annual Stakeholders Consultative Meeting at the prestigious Mombasa Continental Resort, bringing together key partners committed to advancing Primary Health Care (PHC) systems across Kenya.
The meeting served as an important platform for dialogue, reflection, and strategic alignment among stakeholders working to strengthen community health delivery models and accelerate progress toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
High-Level Participation and Leadership
The event was honored by the presence of the Chief Guest, Wycliffe Okenya from the National Government Primary Health Department. His participation underscored the Government of Kenya’s continued commitment to collaborative partnerships as a cornerstone for resilient and responsive community health systems.
National and county government representatives, development partners, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), civil society actors, and technical institutions joined to share
experiences and strengthen coordination efforts. The Kilifi County Department of Health played a key role in presenting county-level implementation insights and lessons learned.

A central highlight was the Community Health Promotion Points (CHPPs) model, implemented in partnership with North Coast Medical Training College. The model demonstrates how decentralized health Information platforms can generate real-time, actionable intelligence to support evidence-based planning, service delivery optimization, and improved community health outcomes.
