Community Health Promotion Fund commemorates World Breastfeeding Day

CHPF joins the world in celebrating World Breast feeding day, #Prioritise breast feeding# CHPF recognizes the significance of breastfeeding in nurturing and protecting infants, appreciating the efforts of mothers, families, and health professionals who support breastfeeding. We reflect on the progress made in breastfeeding support and what more needs to be done as well as raising awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding for both baby and mother in the communities we serve.

Breastfeeding is the first bond of love, the first act of protection, acting as their first vaccine providing protection against diseases including diarrhoea and pneumonia. It’s also the foundation for a healthier future most effective to ensuring a baby’s health, development, and survival in the earliest stages of life.

Community Health Promotion Fund supports every parent, caregiver, and health worker who helps make breastfeeding possible. Together, we champion informed choices, equitable healthcare, and environments where every child gets the best start in life. Let’s protect, promote, and support breastfeeding—for the health of our children, our communities, and our planet.
